اخواني الاعزاء ثار جدلا في احد المكاتب الاستشارية حول اهمية مهندس الاشراف في ظل وجود معمل مراقبة الجودة في رقابة الخرسانة للخوازيق
ومهندس المقاول ومقاول الباطن فقمت بايفاءهم بالرد واحببت ان اشرككم في الموضوع لعله يكون له فائدة لاحدكم
What is the importance of the SuperVision engineer for concrete placement?
vCheck of delivery ticket of Truck mixers (can’t be more than 2 hrs):-
ØA –in Some of cases, if it’ll be very quick supply, it’ll
be many of Trucks in the site (8…10) Trucks, ((3-4 Trucks for each pile 1200 mm)), so (1-2 Truck may wait for 1hr In the site) is added to (difference between time arrived & time batched), that Means more than 2 hrs!
ØB –in Some of cases, if it’ll be very slow supply, it’ll be only of (1-2 ) Truck in the site , ((3-4 Trucks for each pile 1200 mm)), so (1-2 Truck may wait for next Trucks 1hr In the site) is added to (difference between time arrived & time batched), that Means more than 2 hrs!
ØC –in Some of cases, concrete pump broken down, it’ll be needed for maintenance in the site or it will be waited for another concrete pump ((3-4 Trucks for each pile 1200 mm)), so (1-2 Truck at least may wait for 1hr In the site) is added to (difference between time arrived & time batched), that Means more than 2 hrs!
vCheck of slump test for each lorry:-
·If it will be more than (175+25), technicians or Contarctor’s engineer may accept it (175+30), if it will be more than (175-25), technicians or Contarctor’s engineer may accept it (175-30).
·The most of concrete from (THe PLANT) IS VERY LOOSE, SLUMP TEST HAS COLLAPSE SHAPE (190mm at least) this is one of the reasons of failure of (cubes test).(( The test is only valid if it yields a true slump, If the specimen shears, or collapses, take another sample and repeat the procedure) Clause 7.1 BS 1881:Part102:1983) ·Sometimes, Method of make (cubes test) is invalid, many of (cubes tests) were failed, samples have very low compressive strength, this is happened due to bad slump and bad make of testing.
vExtracting of temporary casing :-
Sometimes, The mobilization area isn’t proper and it provides bad maneuvering for ( concrete PUMP , CRANE AND DRILLING RIG ) ,
So, it isn’t easy to extract temporary casing while the concrete within remains sufficiently workable ( good workable) , it may be ( 60 min – 100 min ), temporary casing shall be extracted before ( 2 hrs ) .
vAFTER Extracting of temporary casing :-
vIt is needed to check pile condition (sOil collapse); some of areas in the site have bad sOil condition, before Collapse had happened for 2 piles before concreti ng. | |
